India's worst politicians

I'll keep updating this since This is just a draft - I'll refine this as I go. However, I'd like your opinion on India's worst politicians - who they are, what they are doing (or did) to earn this title and what is being done to get rid of them?
Note : Do NOT comment on things like Sonia because she's Italian or Manmohan Singh because "he's an Old Turbaned Geek who does whatever Madam suggests"!! Not all politicians are bad - comparatively - some are much better than others. Blogs like this will (hopefully) keep the real filth in perspective - we have to encourage our better leaders to become even better !!

Deve Gowda : (Janata Dal - Secular: JD-S) Bad family politics (Hilarious actually, staged a coup by staging a fight with his son so he could remain in power). Bad leader.Non development oriented (Wants to VETO NICE - the bangalore-mysore expressway since for reasons known to him). He and his sons are instrumental in letting Bangalore rot!!! Effective literacy : 25%.

Bal Thackeray : (Shiv Sena) Self styled saviour of masses. Extremely corrupt. Extremely fanatical. Scrapped Enron - years of efforts down the drain for NO apparent reason. Has NOTHING to show for development. Zero business acumen. Bad family politics. Effective Literacy : 30%

Lalu Prasad Yadav : (Rajstriya Janata Dal : RJD)Need we say it all? Single handed - he turned Binary into a cesspool of rot and anarchy. Extremely backwards in thinking. Extremely narcissistic. Extremely nasty family politics. No Business acumen. No sophistication. Goon leader with heavy links to all manners of criminal-underworld. No regard for law enforcement. Believes in fiefdom. Effective literacy : 0%

Shahbuddin : (Rashtriya Janata Dal : RJD) Classified by WIKI as one of the most notorious criminal-turned-politician.

Involved in every type of crime known to man - theft, kidnapping, dacoity, murder, rape on human front. In politics, he's legendary for booth capturing, killing opposition, extortion of business men and enterprises and no respect for the law. Known to slap and push policemen around. Believes in fiefdom and has no respect for democracy. Has 34 cases against him including murder of an SP. But is still a member of parliament!IMO this man deserves the Death Penalty! Effective literacy : 0%.

Arun Gawli (Akhil Bharatiya Sena : ABS) Ganster-turned-politician - this man is an underworld don masquerading as a politician. All cases against him have been dropped and he now professes politics as a free man, and has become even more bold. His methods of extortion have spread far and wide into Mumbai's business community and faces no threat from practicing his profession!!! Possibly one of the more dangerous politicians since he's showing no signs of slowing down.
